2020 may have started off as a normal year but as well all now know, it is far from normal. A world-wide pandemic hit our country early this year and has kept most of the world inside their homes for months. But that's not all: while the disease has been killing an unthinkable number of Americans every day, the shutdown has also caused economic turmoil that has put millions out of work and left them wondering where their next paycheck will come from. Oh, and it is also a presidential election year!


Through all of this however, there has been, and there will always be, music to get us through. In these times, all around the world and right here in the Toledo, Ohio area, our local musicians have stepped up to help us through our lonely nights and through our fears and the “what if” game. So why not put it all together and have one place to go again and again to hear our favorite local musicians singing to us? Thus this compilation of great local music was born. The proceeds for The Quarantine Sessions will support WAKT 106.1, your local community radio station, and the local artists who contributed to this album. We hope you find comfort and community in this music, and we promise to continue helping those in need to have music to touch their souls. Thank you to all who have contributed and helped put this album together. Please stay safe.

The tracks used within are copyright of their respective artists and are used with permission. Proceeds from sales will go to benefit the artists and the operations of 106.1 WAKT-LP community radio station in a 50/50 split, while any extra voluntary proceeds over the $10 purchase price will additionally be split among the artists.
